The OLAO is proud to celebrate another year of providing a wide variety of high quality products and outstanding services to the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Health and Human Services and other Federal agencies. We take pride in being NIH's premier central services organization for personal property, logistics and acquisition services, and a valued business partner to the other agencies we support. We continue to work diligently to improve our products and services and remain committed to providing the highest quality of services to our customers.

The OLAO staff is pleased to showcase our products and services and to keep you up to date on all of the new and exciting things that are happening in OLAO. From blackberries to reverse auctions, to renting a vehicle from Enterprise Car Rental, or learning more about NIH's Purchase Card Program, the primary goal of our  site is to ensure we have a "user-friendly, customer focused web-page, designed to allow you easy access to our products, services and policies.

SPEAKER:

Ms. Johnetta Edward-Fords is the Customer Service Director at the General Services Administration (GSA). She will be presenting the various services that the U.S. General Service Administration has to offer. As a Customer Service Director for the Business Development Division, her presentation will provide us with the GSA tools necessary to perform and enhance our acquisitions.

What Everyone Needs to Know About GSA Services:

  • EBuy – is an online Request for Quotes (RFQ) tools which allows buyers to obtain quotes and issue orders for products and services offered by sellers on the GSA/VA Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) programs and Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC)s

  • GSA Advantage – Search by Keyword, Browse by Category and Specialty Category, refining your search and advance, order history and order status, etc.

  • Schedules E-Library – Source for the latest GSA and VA Federal Supply Schedules and GWAC contract award information.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Simplified Acquisition staff including Purchasing Agents, P-Card Holders, Buyers and Approvers

  • All who are interested

The U.S. General Services Administration session is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 9:30am -11:30am, at the Neuroscience Center, 6001 Executive Blvd -Conference Room D, Rockville, MD. Be sure to bring your ID badge.
